Coconut oil in your coffee?
A bite of pure coconut oil is of course not exactly tasty, and we would certainly not recommend that. By adding coconut oil to your coffee, the heat of the coffee causes the coconut oil to liquefy. This also gives your daily cup of coffee a somewhat creamy taste if you mix the oil well with the coffee with a small hand mixer, blender or even with a fork.
If you really want to get it right, there are several MCT oil products available on the market that contain more effective MCTs than standard coconut oil. Coconut oil only contains 50% of MCTs, while MCT oil in most cases contains 100% of these good fats. MCT oil is also liquid, making it even easier to use. At Cupplement we also have our own MCT C8 oil. This is the purest form of MCT oil and comes with a handy pouring spout.
