Chaga is a type of fungus that grows on birch trees in cold climates, particularly in areas such as Siberia, Northern Europe and parts of North America.

Reishi grows in Asian countries such as China, Korea and Japan. Its habitat is usually at the base of a hardwood tree, in moist conditions.
